Brew Science 是一款离线优先的咖啡工具箱 app。我们的设计原则是:能不收集数据就不收集,能留在你手机本地就留在本地。
目前,Brew Science 不会把你的任何个人数据发送到我们的服务器。 你在 app 里输入的所有内容——品鉴笔记、养豆记录、自建冲煮配方、署名、外观设置——都保存在你手机本地(通过设备自带的本地数据库),不会被我们看到。开启「iCloud 同步」(Pro)后,这些数据会通过 Apple 的 iCloud 在你自己的设备之间加密同步,同样不经过我们的服务器(详见「iCloud 同步」一节)。
卸载 app 即会删除本地数据;若开启过 iCloud 同步,云端副本保存在你自己的 iCloud 账户里,可在系统设置的 iCloud 存储管理中删除。我们没有服务器端账号系统,因此没有需要向我们申请删除的数据。
「粒径分布」功能需要拍照或从相册选取照片,用于在你手机本地分析研磨颗粒粗细。这张照片只在你的设备上处理,不会被上传、不会被保存到 app 之外的任何地方,关闭该页面后即从内存中清除。
「粒径分布」的识别诊断包(含分析用的工作图与识别参数)仅在你主动点击导出时进入系统分享面板,发送到哪里由你选择;不导出则不产生任何分享。
「拍豆袋识别」与「拍信息卡识别」同样用拍照或从相册选取的照片,在你手机本地读取豆袋/咖啡信息卡上的印刷文字并填写表单(使用系统自带的文字识别与端上模型)。照片只在设备上处理,不会被上传。若你觉得识别不准,可以选择发送反馈邮件:邮件由你在系统邮件 app 里亲自发出,照片与诊断信息在发送前全部可见——不发送,就不会有任何数据离开设备。
Brew Science 只在两种情况下连接我们自己的服务器 api.brewscience.win:
1. 购买验证:购买/恢复 Brew Science Pro 后,app 会把 Apple 签名的交易凭证发给服务器做密码学验证。凭证是 Apple 出具的收据,不包含你的姓名、邮箱等个人信息;服务器不记录、不存储任何内容。
2. 高级数据下载(仅 Pro):完整磨豆机换算库在验证通过后一次性下载,此后保存在你的设备上,离线可用。
此外,开启 iCloud 同步后,数据会经 Apple 的 iCloud 服务传输与存储——那是你与 Apple 之间的通道,不经过我们的服务器。除此之外零网络:精选配方、瓶装水数据、全部计算与你的所有记录都在设备本地。
目前没有接入任何第三方统计、广告或用户行为追踪服务。
Brew Science 提供一项自动续订的年度订阅「Brew Science Pro」:
• 支付与续订全程由 Apple App Store 处理,遵循 Apple 的隐私政策;我们不接触、不存储你的任何支付信息。可随时在系统「设置 → Apple 账户 → 订阅」中取消。
• 购买或恢复后,app 会把 Apple 签发的交易凭证发送到我们的服务器(api.brewscience.win)做密码学验证,用于确认解锁资格并下发高级数据。该凭证是 Apple 出具的收据,不含姓名、邮箱等个人信息;服务器不记录、不存储任何内容。
• 订阅归属你的 Apple 账户,可在任何设备上通过「恢复购买」找回。
Brew Science 不面向 13 周岁以下儿童,也不会有意收集其个人信息。
如果我们的数据处理方式发生实质性变化(例如新增账号系统),会在此更新本政策并说明生效日期。
「iCloud 同步」(Pro)把你的数据保存在你自己的 iCloud 私有数据库,并在你的设备之间自动同步:由 Apple 在你的账户下加密传输和存储,不经过我们的服务器,我们没有任何途径读取。在系统设置退出 iCloud 或关闭本 app 的 iCloud 权限即完全停用。
「赏味期提醒」(Pro)使用 iOS 本地通知:提醒的排程与触发完全在你的设备上完成,不经过任何服务器,也不上传任何数据。在系统设置里关闭通知权限即完全停用。

Brew Science is an offline-first coffee toolkit app. Our design principle: collect nothing we don't need, keep everything on your device that we can.
Brew Science sends none of your personal data to our servers. Everything you enter in the app — tasting notes, bean-freshness logs, custom brew recipes, your signature, appearance settings — is stored on your device (via the OS's local database) and never seen by us. With iCloud Sync (Pro) enabled, this data syncs between your own devices, encrypted, through Apple's iCloud — again never touching our servers (see "iCloud Sync" below).
Uninstalling the app deletes the local data. If you used iCloud Sync, the cloud copy lives in your own iCloud account and can be removed in the system's iCloud storage settings. We have no server-side account system, so there is nothing to ask us to delete.
The Grind Size feature needs a photo (taken or picked from your library) to analyze grind coarseness on your device. That photo is processed entirely on your device, is never uploaded, is never saved anywhere outside the app, and is cleared from memory once you leave that screen.
The Grind Size diagnostic package (the working image used for analysis plus recognition parameters) enters the system share sheet only when you actively choose to export it; where it goes is up to you. If you never export, nothing is shared.
Bean-bag scanning and info-card scanning likewise use a photo (taken or picked from your library) to read the printed text and fill in the form, entirely on your device (system text recognition plus Apple's on-device model). The photo is never uploaded. If a scan looks wrong, you may choose to send us a feedback email: you send it yourself from your mail app, with the photo and diagnostics fully visible before sending — if you don't send it, nothing leaves your device.
Brew Science contacts our own server, api.brewscience.win, in exactly two situations:
1. Purchase verification: after buying/restoring Brew Science Pro, the app sends Apple's signed transaction ticket for cryptographic verification. The ticket is Apple's receipt — it contains no name, email or other personal data; the server logs and stores nothing.
2. Premium data download (Pro only): the full grinder conversion library downloads once after verification, then lives on your device and works offline.
Additionally, with iCloud Sync enabled, data travels through Apple's iCloud service — a channel between you and Apple that never touches our servers. Everything else is zero-network: curated recipes, bottled-water data, all calculations and all of your records stay on-device.
No third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking is integrated at this time.
Brew Science offers one auto-renewing yearly subscription, "Brew Science Pro":
• Payment and renewal are handled entirely by the Apple App Store under Apple's privacy policy; we never touch or store any of your payment details. You can cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• After a purchase or restore, the app sends Apple's signed transaction ticket to our server (api.brewscience.win) for cryptographic verification, used to confirm entitlement and deliver premium data. The ticket is Apple's receipt — it contains no name, email or other personal data; the server logs and stores nothing.
• The subscription belongs to your Apple account and can be restored on any device.
Brew Science is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If how we handle data changes materially (e.g. if we add accounts), we'll update this policy here with a new effective date.
iCloud Sync (Pro) stores your data in your own private iCloud database and syncs it automatically between your devices: encrypted, transferred and stored by Apple under your account. It never touches our servers and we have no way to read it. Signing out of iCloud, or disabling iCloud for this app in Settings, disables it completely.
Freshness reminders (Pro) use iOS local notifications: scheduling and delivery happen entirely on your device — no server involved, nothing uploaded. Turning off notification permission in Settings disables them completely.
